A firm protested an Air Force contract award for chemical analyzers and related supplies, contending that the Air Force improperly: (1) rejected its bid, since its product met most of the requirements; and (2) wrote its specifications to fit one particular product. GAO held that the: (1) Air Force properly rejected the protester's bid, since its product did not meet all specifications; and (2) protester untimely filed after bid opening its protest regarding solicitation specifications. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
