Highlights

A firm protested the Navy's rejection of its bid for hydraulic servovalves, contending that the: (1) Navy failed to properly evaluate its bid; and (2) awardee's bid price was unreasonable. GAO held that: (1) the Navy reasonably determined that the protester's parts were reconditioned surplus and did not meet solicitation requirements; and (2) it would not question the awardee's bid price, since the Navy properly rejected the protester's bid. Accordingly, the protest was denied.
