Highlights

A firm protested the Federal Bureau of Investigation's failure to provide it with a copy of a solicitation for the procurement of medical services after it had requested a copy and had asked to be added to the agency's solicitation mailing list. GAO found that: (1) the firm was not placed on the mailing list because it failed to file the required standard form; (2) the solicitation was advertised in the Commerce Business Daily; and (3) adequate competition was obtained for the procurement. Accordingly, the protest was denied. However, GAO recommended that the agency take measures to ensure that interested potential offerers are added to solicitation mailing lists.
