A firm protested Air Force actions relating to the release of information under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The protester argued that the Air Force should have been prevented from releasing its proposal in response to another firm's request for the bid under provisions of the FOIA. GAO noted that it has no authority to determine what information may be released by an agency under provisions of the act. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
