A firm protested the failure of the General Services Administration to exercise a contract renewal option, contending that it was unfair for an agency not to renew a contract when the contractor's performance has been satisfactory. GAO held that the matter was one of contract administration, which is outside the scope of GAO authority under its bid protest function. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
