Highlights

An individual requested a reconsideration of a prior GAO decision. That decision concluded that the protest of an allegedly unfair proposal evaluation by the Department of Health and Human Services was untimely and would not therefore be considered on its merits. GAO reiterated that bid protest procedures require that requests for reconsideration be filed within 10 working days after the basis for reconsideration is known or should have been known. Since the protester's request for reconsideration was not filed within this timeframe, it was dismissed.
