Monitoring and Enforcing the Impoundment Control Act of 1974

GAO responded to an inquiry from a Representative written in response to a letter addressed to him November 5, 1981. The Representative expressed concern with languge used in GAO's initial letter regarding the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. GAO assured the Act is being properly monitored and enforced.
