Claim for Retroactive Temporary Promotion

An Air Force employee, whose position as a parts and equipment cleaner was canceled, was reassigned to a position at the same grade as a Materials Expediter. In the new position, the employee believed that he was performing duties at a higher grade. Although a position audit was made at the time the employee was performing his duties as a Materials Expediter, the position was never classified at a higher grade. The claim for a retroactive temporary promotion was denied.
