An individual demanded payment of wages allegedly due under the terms of a contract for work on a federally funded housing project. The authority to disburse payments for laborers and mechanics under the Davis-Bacon Act has been conferred upon the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the individual's claim is not for consideration by GAO.
