Highlights

A determination was requested of the propriety of correcting a bid error after award because of the omission of component parts in the bid price. Since the contracting officer was on constructive notice of the error, the bidder may have the contract rescinded in spite of a small disparity in bid prices; the proper remedy is rescission rather than correction since factors necessary for correction were not considered in formulation of the bid.
