Highlights

Reconsideration was requested of disallowance of an employee's claim for recredit of sick leave which was forfeited because of a 19-day break in service which occurred when he transferred to Federal employment. The agency may correct the employee's records to reflect the transfer without a break in service and charge the 19-day period to authorized leave of absence without pay since it was the agency's intention to transfer the county committee employee to regular civil service without forfeiture of sick leave, and such forfeiture was in contravention of the statutory mandate.
