Highlights

A company protested the award of delivery orders on the basis of a "brand name" sole source justification. The protest was denied because purchase of protester's equipment from a multiple award Federal Supply Schedule, in spite of an initial price advantage, would result in higher maintenance charges for the life of the equipment, and the protester was not denied the opportunity to compete.
