Nonresponsiveness of Low Bid Due to Bid Bond Amount Error

B-190295 Oct 12, 1977

Highlights

The protester objected to the anticipated rejection of its low bid resulting from an inadvertent typographical error in the amount of the bid bond. The mistake in the bid bond amount may not be corrected to make a nonresponsive bid responsive and may not be waived. The protest was summarily denied because the protester's initial submission demonstrated affirmatively that it was not entitled to relief.
