Highlights

The Comptroller of the Department of Labor requested an opinion with regard to the proper disposition of fees obtained from participants in agency-sponsored conferences. In the absence of statutory authority for crediting fees received from non-Federal participants in agency-sponsored conferences, the fees must be credited to miscellaneous receipts. Fees from participants within the Federal Goverment should be credited to the appropriation bearing the cost of the conference.
