Highlights

An employee appealed the denial of his claim for reimbursement of relocation expenses and per diem and mileage incurred while performing temporary duty. Temporary lodging expenses may not be reimbursed in the absence of receipts for such lodging. The claim for mileage and per diem was denied because there was uncertainty as to the employee's actual headquarters. The employee may be reimbursed for such expenses incident to performance of official business at his original duty station following his actual transfer.
