Alleged Mistake in Bid

An advance decision was requested with regard to an alleged mistake in bid. The correction will be permitted where the bidder's worksheet clearly showed that the bidder misplaced a decimal in pricing an item of work since the intended price can be ascertained. The fact that every element of the total bid price cannot be reconstructed from the bidder's worksheets does not prevent upward correction of the bid since the decimal point error is clearly shown.
