An attorney for claimants, requested reconsideration of a decision that claims should be paid solely to the surviving spouse, who indicated that he had paid funeral expenses. In light of that fact, the spouse was reimbursed by the estate, California law will prevail and the claims will be divided equally among the spouse and the decedent's two children.
