Entitlement to Per Diem for Period of Extended Active Duty

A decision was requested concerning payment of two National Guard officers for per diem in connection with active duty assignments. The officers were ordered to active duty for a period of 50 days which was later extended. Since the length of active duty was not contemplated, the officers were entitled to per diem for the entire period of active duty.
