Highlights

A Department of Defense contractor alleged that it performed work under an oral agreement that a contract would be issued for the development of an urgently needed item, but the agency denied that any such agreement existed. Since GAO was not authorized to grant extraordinary contractual relief under Public Law 85-804, there was no jurisdiction to consider the claim.
