Highlights

A decision was requested on the propriety of paying for transportation of dependents from a place other than the home port when the member is transferred from a vessel to a shore station. Since the shore duty station is in the same location as the old home port, there is no change of station so far as transportation of dependents is concerned, and the member has no rights to further transportation of dependents.
