Settlement Reconsideration for Claim for Travel and Transportation Expenses - Pepper Letter

A nurse in the Public Health Service, Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, asked GAO to reconsider the settlement issued by our Claims Division that disallowed her claim for travel and transportation expenses incurred incident to her transfer from Chicago, Illinois to Miami, Florida.

GAO sustains the settlement that disallowed her claim. The transfer was made by the request of the nurse, and she was informed that she would be responsible for relocation expenses.
