Claim for Loan Origination Fees as Part of Relocation Expenses

A Federal employee reclaimed an amount representing a loan origination fee incident to his transfer of official duty station. The original claim was disallowed by the administrative agency. The employee may not be reimbursed any part of that charge since it was a finance charge under the Truth in Lending Act and Regulation Z.
