Highlights

An employee claimed reimbursement for certain miscellaneous expenses incident to his transfer of official duty station. A fee incurred for leveling and adjusting a grandfather clock, which was necessary for the clock to operate properly, was allowable. The cost of postage stamps used to notify periodical publishers and creditors of the change of address was not allowable since it was an expense incurred for reasons of personal taste or preference and did not fall within the purview of applicable regulations.
