Review of Actions Applicable to Overdimensional Shipment

A common carrier requested review of the Government's action in disallowing a claim and collecting an overcharge by deduction to adjust freight charges applicable to an overdimensional shipment. The carrier did not have a valid highway permit entitling it to special weekend or holiday charges, so its claim was not valid. In the absence of a request by the shipper, charges for a route survey on overdimensional shipments are not allowable.
