Highlights

A decision was requested as to whether time devoted to administrative work at headquarters prior to and following checkpoint duty by employees of the Border Patrol and time required for traveling to and from such duty should be regarded as regularly scheduled overtime or as administratively uncontrollable overtime. Since the particular days on which agents are assigned to checkpoints are regularly scheduled and the time involved in travel and in the performance of the preliminary and postliminary duties is reasonbly constant and can be determined, time devoted to these activities may be regarded as regularly scheduled overtime.
