Highlights

Family Separation Allowance Type II (FSA-II) will be allowed in the event of enforced family separation in the closing of a naval base in Morocco, since the enforced separation is due to military orders. The base closure plan would require the transfer by government-furnished transportation of dependents to the next duty station while military personnel would be required to remain in Morocco to implement base closure. FSA-II is allowed when government orders establish a restricted duty station that necessitates the maintenance of two households.
