AS YOU WERE ADVISED BY OUR CLAIMS DIVISION ON JANUARY 23. INFORMATION OF RECORD DISCLOSED THAT YOU WERE EMPLOYED AT THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION CENTER. AT WHICH TIME YOU WERE SEPARATED FROM SERVICE BY DISABILITY. THE RECORD ALSO INDICATES THAT YOU WERE PAID IN FULL FOR ALL SERVICE PERFORMED AND THAT YOU OBTAINED A REFUND OF RETIREMENT DEDUCTIONS MADE FROM YOUR SALARY PLUS INTEREST THEREON. IT IS NOT SHOWN THAT YOU WERE SUBSEQUENTLY REAPPOINTED TO THE FEDERAL SERVICE OR THAT YOU HAVE SO SERVED SINCE THE SEPARATION OF MARCH 6. WE EXPLAINED THAT THERE IS NO AUTHORITY FOR THE ALLOWANCE OF SEPARATION PAY AS SUCH UPON SEPARATION FROM THE FEDERAL SERVICE. IN VIEW THEREOF IT DOES NOT APPEAR THAT THERE IS ANY FURTHER AMOUNT DUE YOU ON ACCOUNT OF THE MATTERS ALLEGED.
