WE REFER TO A LETTER DATED MARCH 17, 1964, FROM THE ASSISTANT DEPUTY ASSOCIATE ADMINISTRATOR (PROCUREMENT POLICY), WITH RESPECT TO THE CONTEMPLATED PROCUREMENT OF SPACECRAFT ALTITUDE TEST CHAMBERS FOR THE APOLLO PROGRAM FROM THE F. J. STOKES COMPANY.

IN VIEW OF THE REPRESENTATIONS MADE IN THE MARCH 17 LETTER CONCERNING THE PROPRIETARY CHARACTER OF THE DESIGN INFORMATION FURNISHED BY STOKES UNDER PHASE I OF THE CONTRACT, AND OF THE FACT THAT THE CHICAGO BRIDGE AND IRON COMPANY WILL NOT OBJECT TO THE CONTEMPLATED PROCUREMENT, WE WILL CONSIDER THE MATTERS RAISED IN MR. HUTCHINGS' LETTER OF FEBRUARY 7, 1964, AS HAVING BEEN RESOLVED. OUR FILE WILL BE CLOSED ACCORDINGLY.
