Decision on Whether Appropriations May be Used for the Furnishing of Coveralls to Post Office Department Mechanics

The Post Office Department requested a decision from GAO on whether the Department's appropriations for supplies and equipment are available for the furnishing of coveralls to mechanics employed in garages and mail equipment shops, whose duties require operation of, or close proximity to, moving machinery.
