Major Developments in the B-1 Bomber Program

This document was written in reply to a Congressional letter of September 30, 1977, in which Congress asked that GAO monitor the executive branch's actions and inform Congress of major developments in the B-1 bomber program. Pursuant the Congressional request, GAO was in contact with officials of the Department of Defense and representatives of Rockwell International, one of the prime contractors for the B-1 program.
