Under the proposed Act 'Making appropriations for the Post Office Department for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1923, and for other purposes' (HR-9859), the appropriations for Salaries and for Contingent and Miscellaneous Expenses of the 'Post Office Department, Washington, District of Columbia' are made payable from the postal revenues instead of 'out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated' as heretofore.
