Community Development: Revenue and Demographic Characteristics of East St. Louis, Illinois

In response to a congressional request, GAO provided information on: (1) Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other federal, state, and local funding for East St. Louis, Illinois, for fiscal years (FY) 1974 through 1985; and (2) historical demographic data on social and economic conditions in the city.
