[Protest of Air Force Solicitation Modification Extending Bid Closing Date]

A firm protested an Air Force solicitation modification extending the bid closing date, contending that the other bidder had ample time to submit its bid by the original closing date. GAO held that the Air Force properly extended the bid closing date to foster better competition. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
