Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its denied protest of a Bureau of Prisons (BOP) contract award for residential community corrections services, contending that BOP: (1) improperly evaluated its proposal; and (2) failed to conduct meaningful discussions regarding its proposal. GAO had held that the protester's allegations had no merit. In its request for reconsideration, the protester essentially reiterated its initial arguments. GAO held that the protester: (1) was not sufficiently interested to protest the evaluation of the unsuccessful bids; and (2) failed to present any legal or factual evidence that warranted reversal or modification of the original decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
