Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of the Department of Defense's (DOD) rejection of its bid and subsequent contract award. GAO had held that DOD properly rejected the protester's bid, since the protester was not a small disadvantaged business and was not qualified to bid the set-aside procurement. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that DOD failed to include applicable clauses in the solicitation or follow applicable regulations. GAO held that the protester untimely filed its protest of regulatory violations after bid opening. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
