[Protests of DMA Contract Award for Systems Engineering and Evaluation Support]

A firm protested a Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) contract award for systems engineering and evaluation support, contending that DMA: (1) inconsistently evaluated the bids; and (2) conducted improper discussions. GAO held that the protests were academic, since: (1) DMA took corrective action in response to the protests; and (2) the protester withdrew its protests. Accordingly, the protests were dismissed.
