[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Army Contract Award]

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of an Army contract award. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it knew its basis of protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that it was not aware of any time limitations for filing a protest. GAO held that the protester had constructive notice of the bid protest provisions, since they were published in the Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
