Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) rejection of its bid. GAO had held that the protester was not eligible for award, since HUD placed it on its Limited Denial of Participation (LDP) list. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO improperly dismissed the protest, since the LDP took effect 1 month after it submitted its proposal. GAO held that the: (1) LDP was effective for 12 months; and (2) protester was not sufficiently interested to protest, since it was not eligible for award. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
