[Protest of HUD Rejection of Bid for Real Estate Closing Services]

A firm protested the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) rejection of its bid for real estate closing services, contending that its bid was delivered late. GAO held that the protester was not sufficiently interested to protest the procurement, since it was restricted from participating in HUD procurements and would not be in line for award even if its protest were sustained. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
