A firm protested a U.S. Marine Corps contract award, contending that its untimely protest should have been considered under the significant-issue exception. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it learned of initial adverse action on its agency-level protest; and (2) protest did not warrant consideration under the significant-issue or good cause exception, since it was not of widespread significance to the procurement community. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
