[Request for Reconsideration of Protest of Air Force Bid Rejection]

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of the Air Force's rejection of its bid. GAO had held that the protester failed to diligently pursue its protest, since it did not file its comments on the agency report within 10 days of the report's due date. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that its failure to timely submit its comments on the agency report was due to a malfunction in its computer tracking system. GAO held that the protester: (1) did not provide a valid basis for reconsidering its dismissed protest; and (2) failed to properly pursue its protest, since it did not timely file its comments on the agency report. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
