Highlights

A firm protested an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) contract award, contending that the award was improper and violated the Buy American Act. GAO held that: (1) EPA properly awarded the contract; (2) the solicitation did not provide for a domestic evaluation preference; and (3) the protester untimely filed after bid opening its protest regarding alleged solicitation improprieties. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
