[Protest of DLA Failure to Exercise Contract Option]

A firm protested the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) failure to exercise an option on its contract, contending that DLA should have referred it to the Small Business Administration (SBA) for a responsibility determination. GAO held that it would not review the protest, since DLA was not required to exercise the contract option or refer the matter to SBA. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
