[Request for Reconsideration of Claim for Protest Costs]
B-257954.4: Feb 14, 1995
- Full Report:
A firm requested reconsideration of its denied claim for protest costs. GAO had held that payment of protest costs was not warranted, since the agency took prompt corrective action in response to the protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that GAO failed to consider: (1) how long the agency took to implement corrective action; and (2) the merits of its protest. GAO held that the protester: (1) merely repeated arguments it made in its initial protest; and (2) failed to show errors of fact or law that warranted reversal or modification of the decision. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
