Questions were raised regarding the disposition of a deceased U.S. citizen's unclaimed estate in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). GAO determined that the estate should be transmitted to the proper CNMI officer, since CNMI is not considered a U.S. domicile.
