A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest of a General Services Administration contract award. GAO had held that the protester failed to file written comments on the agency report within 10 days of the report due date. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that its protest was of sufficient merit to waive the timeliness requirement. GAO held that the protester: (1) was aware of the filing requirement; and (2) failed to express continued interest in the protest. Accordingly, the dismissal was affirmed.
