Highlights

A firm protested an Air Force contract award, contending that the Air Force improperly dismissed its protest as untimely. GAO held that the: (1) protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it knew the basis of protest; (2) Air Force gave the protester sufficient oral notification of award to form the basis of its protest; and (3) Air Force was not required to provide written notification of award. Accordingly, the protest was dismissed.
