[Air Force Member's Claim for Dependent Allowance]

An Air Force member claimed basic allowance for quarters with dependents for the approximately 2 months the Air Force garnished his pay for child support after he proved he was not the child's father. GAO held that the Air Force properly terminated the allowance while continuing to garnish the claimant's pay, pursuant to a court order. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
