Highlights

A Federal Aviation Administration employee claimed reimbursement for travel expenses, contending that his travel after retirement was to establish permanent residence. GAO held that, since the employee's residence did not change, his travel was personal in nature, and his travel expenses were not incidental to his termination. Accordingly, the claim was denied.
