Highlights

A firm requested reconsideration of its dismissed protest against the Army's rejection of its bid for printing services. GAO had held that the protester untimely filed its protest more than 10 days after it knew the basis for protest. In its request for reconsideration, the protester contended that: (1) GAO improperly determined that it protest was untimely; and (2) the Army failed to conduct meaningful discussions. GAO held that the additional information the Army provided to the protester did not toll the filing deadline, since the information did not relate to the original basis of the protest and the protester did not raise any new bases of protest. Accordingly, the request for reconsideration was denied.
